Baseball Recap: North Brunswick Takes a Loss

North Brunswick fell victim to New Hanover and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

North Brunswick saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fisher Goodwin, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

North Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for New Hanover, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Brunswick is set to challenge their familiar foe Hoggard at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Hanover will square off against rival Topsail at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
