Recap: Carson Colts vs. Banning Pilots
The Carson Colts won the last time they faced the Banning Pilots, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Carson enjoyed a cozy 65-46 win over Banning.
Carson was led to victory by Jacob Ortega and Justin Cooper. Ortega scored 18 points, while Cooper scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cooper has scored all season. Blake McCall was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Carson's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Banning, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Carson will look to defend their home court on Friday against Rancho Dominguez at 4:30 p.m. Rancho Dominguez is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Banning, they will head out on the road to face off against Gardena at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gardena presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Banning in California (Gardena is ranked 267th, while Banning is ranked 1081st).
