League recap: Binegar races to league-leading run for Unioto

Scioto Valley recap September 10, 2013

Unioto's Dillon Binegar rumbled for the longest rushing play in Scioto Valley this season in his game against McClain last week. Binegar ran for 60 yards on the play and finished with 131 on the day as his team fell to the Tigers.

Southeastern moved up to 566 from 683 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Panthers were able to make move up by besting Symmes Valley 28-13.

Piketon's dynamic duo of Devon Brewster and Aaron Southworth proved tough for Vinton County to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Brewster threw for 129 yards and Southworth had 59 yards receiving. Jeremy Farmer helped Piketon's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 30 yards.

The Redstreaks' dynamic duo of Brewster and Southworth proved to be unstoppable against the Vikings, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Binegar provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Unioto fell to McClain.

Binegar was the best running back in the league this week. Tyler Arledge also contributed to the rushing game with 20 yards on the ground.

Brewster put up the best numbers in passing as Piketon lost to Vinton County.

Southworth was the best receiver in Scioto Valley this week as Tyler Gullion's team lost to the Vikings.

Adena was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to third in the league. The Warriors beat River Valley 39-14 earlier in the week.
