Basketball Recap: Trion Takes a Loss

Trion and Taylor County squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Trion had to settle for second. They fell to the Taylor County Vikings 66-62. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Trion's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Taylor County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

Trion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Taylor County, they will challenge McIntosh County Academy on Saturday. One thing working in Taylor County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
