Mater Dei faced Orange Lutheran in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Monarchs took down the Lancers 25-10. The matchup marked the Monarchs' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Mater Dei's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, who picked up 92 receiving yards and one TD.

The victory made it two in a row for Mater Dei and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Orange Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
