Triangle Math & Science is a perfect 3-0 against Ascend Leadership since January of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Triangle Math & Science Tigers just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Ascend Leadership Aviators at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Triangle Math & Science earned a 52-42 victory over Clover Garden School. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Ascend Leadership hadn't done well against River Mill recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Ascend Leadership managed a 31-26 win over River Mill.

Ascend Leadership found their leader in freshman Kimari Cross, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 15 boards. Cross is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Fike, who posted two points and four steals.

Triangle Math & Science pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.2 points over those games. As for Ascend Leadership, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-17.

Everything went Triangle Math & Science's way against Ascend Leadership in their previous matchup back in January, as Triangle Math & Science made off with a 41-17 victory.
