Volleyball Recap: Chittenango Bears vs. Proctor Raiders
Chittenango entered their tilt with Proctor on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They had just enough and edged the Proctor Raiders out 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in December of 2024.
Chittenango had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 17-25, 25-14, 25-19, 15-10.
Ryan Thousand paced Chittenango's offense, picking up 13 kills. Thousand got some help from Logan Bronner and his 36 assists. Seth Boulter controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
