Block Island has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Narragansett Mariners at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, Block Island finally turned things around against Times Squared Academy on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles.
Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Narragansett made sure to put some goals up on the board against Prout on Tuesday. They blew past the Crusaders 4-1. Considering the Mariners have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
