Windham RVT was handed a 14-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over the Bolton Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Mighty Tigers: when they faced off against the Bulldogs last Friday, they had to take a 14-12 defeat.

Genna Sargent was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one double. Madisen Yanez also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Windham RVT was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bolton only posted a batting average of .231.

Windham RVT now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Bolton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.

Coming up, Windham RVT will square off against Harvard Ellis Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Mighty Tigers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. Bolton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
