Volleyball Recap: Syracuse Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Gabe Meredith and Zane Nanney

Syracuse and Riverton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Syracuse had to settle for second. They came up short against the Silverwolves, falling 3-0. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Syracuse had strong showings from Zane Nanney, who had three digs and one block, and Gabe Meredith, who had nine kills, seven digs, and one block. Meredith has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 18 times he's played.

Syracuse's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Riverton, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Syracuse has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Copper Hills on the 9th. As for Riverton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Mountain Ridge on the 9th.
