Basketball Recap: Alexander Takes a Loss

Alexander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 56-44 to the Southeastern Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly 12 points.

Alexander's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Southeastern, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-2.

Alexander will be home for the holidays to greet Meigs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meigs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Alexander surely won't give up without a fight. Southeastern will take on Adena in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeastern is facing Adena at the right time seeing as Adena is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
