Baseball Recap: Norwalk Takes a Loss

Norwalk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indianola Indians. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent defeat being a 6-1 loss on Wednesday.

Norwalk's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Indianola, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Norwalk has already played their next game (against Oskaloosa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Indianola, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Pella Christian on the 27th.
