Softball Game Preview: Gallatin Green Wave vs. Green Hill Hawks

Gallatin is 0-3 against Green Hill since May of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Green Wave will welcome the Hawks at 5:00 p.m. Gallatin has given up an average of 11.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Gallatin is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Monday. They lost 17-4 to Portland. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 19, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Jordyn Lilley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Conger, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Green Hill beat Baylor 5-2 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Gallatin's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Green Hill, their win bumped their record up to 19-2-2.
