Softball Recap: Burns' Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Burns's win against Ontario wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hilanders had just enough and edged out the Tigers 10-9 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Hilanders sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Burns' victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Ontario, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Burns will square off against Vale at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Hilanders their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Ontario, they will take on McLoughlin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
