Soccer Recap: Salt Lake Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Salt Lake Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bingham Miners, sneaking past 3-2. The Griffins better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Angelo Dennet, as he scored every single goal for his team.

The victory (which was Salt Lake Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three contests. As for Bingham, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salt Lake Academy will head out to square off against Riverton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bingham, they will face off against Wasatch at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
