After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vista Murrieta, Poly was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Rancho Verde Mustangs by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

While Poly might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Rancho Verde scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 20-25, 25-19.

Poly's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Rancho Verde, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Poly will take on Covina at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rancho Verde, they will challenge Paloma Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
