Volleyball Recap: South Bend Saint Joseph's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for South Bend Saint Joseph, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the South Bend Adams Eagles 3-0 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: South Bend Saint Joseph took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-14.

Colin Penn paced South Bend Saint Joseph's offense, picking up nine kills. Penn got some help from Run Li and his 28 assists. Li also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Noah Dobski, racking up five apiece.

South Bend Saint Joseph's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11. As for South Bend Adams, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, South Bend Saint Joseph will be playing in front of their home fans against Mishawaka Marian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for South Bend Adams, they will take on South Bend Riley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
