Volleyball Recap: Yazoo City Takes a Loss

Yazoo City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Greenwood Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.

Yazoo City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Greenwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Yazoo City will host Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenwood, they will head out to challenge Gentry at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
