Football Recap: Lakeview Academy Piles Up the Points Against the King's Academy + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeview Academy). They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 48-20 win over The King's Academy Knights. The Lions pushed the score to 41-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights cut but never quite recovered from.

A big part of Lakeview Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Lewis Roberts and his top target Aiden Libutti. Roberts rushed for 12 yards and a pair of TDs while Libutti rushed for 42 yards and two scores. Libutti didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made three total tackles.

Lakeview Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 250 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, The King's Academy had strong showings from Roger Wilson, who picked up 63 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Joe Iredale, who threw for 123 yards and three TDs. Wilson showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 52 yards.

The win got Lakeview Academy back to even at 4-4. As for The King's Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
