Baseball Recap: Bulls College Prep Victorious

Bulls College Prep's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions by a score of 4-1. For the Bulls, this counts as revenge for the 10-3 victory the Mountain Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Michael Leon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Bulls College Prep is 3-1 when Leon allows two or fewer hits, but 2-7 otherwise. Leon was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jeremiah Alvarado was incredible, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times he's played.

Bulls College Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Muchin College Prep, they moved to 9-2 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Coming up, Bulls College Prep will square off against Intrinsic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Muchin College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
