Softball Recap: West Broward Bobcats vs. Cooper City Cowboys

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palatka, West Broward was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Cooper City Cowboys out 6-4. That's more bragging rights for West Broward, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gabrielle Cruz spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ava Difato, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Jenelle Cruz was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
