Basketball Recap: Life Center Academy Comes Up Short

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 107-54, which was the final score in the Life Center Academy Warriors's tilt against the Knox Falcons on Saturday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Life Center Academy lost, don't look at Rasheem Yon. Despite the final result, he went 12 for 24 en route to 34 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Yon a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Levasseur, who posted eight points.

Life Center Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Knox, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Life Center Academy will challenge Peddie at 6:15 p.m. on February 10th. Life Center Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.3 points per game this season. As for Knox, they are taking a road trip to face off against Martin Luther at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
