While Aiken put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Airport. The Fighting Green Hornets blew past the Eagles, posting a 44-0 win. This was payback for the Fighting Green Hornets, who suffered a 34-16 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Aiken found their leader in freshman Michael Francis, who rushed for 92 yards and one score on only nine carries. Darius Walker helped out on the ground, rushing for 80 yards.

Aiken was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Aiken didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jayden Moore. Aiken got some further help from Brandon Poston: he picked up two sacks and made four total tackles.

Aiken has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points this season. As for Airport, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Aiken didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 36-17 defeat against Hilton Head Island on the 5th. As for Airport, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 40-0 loss against Orangeburg-Wilkinson on the 5th.
