Baseball Game Preview: Pacific Grove Breakers vs. Skyline Titans

The Pacific Grove Breakers are taking a road trip to challenge the Skyline Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Pacific Grove is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Urban 10-3.

Georgio Rosa looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Pacific Grove let Brody Edmonds and Andrew Jeska run wild. Edmonds went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base, while Jeska went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits Jeska has posted since back in April. Charlie Edmonds was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Pacific Grove kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Skyline beat Los Molinos 5-1 on Tuesday.

Skyline saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dallas Tucker, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another was Mako Wolff, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

Pacific Grove's record is now 18-12-1. As for Skyline, their record now sits at 16-12.
