Baseball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was the 5-4 winner over Mount Miguel when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Lincoln fell just short of Mount Miguel by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Max Seville was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 2-for-2.

Lincoln's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mount Miguel, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-1 victory against Mar Vista on the 20th. As for Mount Miguel, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-9 win against Hoover on the 20th.
