Baseball Recap: Okeechobee Victorious

Okeechobee won the last time they faced Port St. Lucie and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Brahmans came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Brahmans.

Aaron White tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025.

On the hitting side, Okeechobee got a massive performance out of Landon Hall, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Brad Phillips, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Okeechobee's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Port St. Lucie, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Okeechobee will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Palm Beach Gardens at 7:00 p.m. The Gators have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.85 runs per game on average), something the Brahmans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Port St. Lucie, they will venture away from home to take on Legacy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
