Softball Recap: HCYA Takes a Loss

It was a good run, but HCYA unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Episcopal Knights, falling 15-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat HCYA has suffered since February 10th.

Sarah Horne was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

HCYA's loss dropped their record down to 21-7-4. As for Episcopal, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. HCYA will take on Lutheran South Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Episcopal, they will venture away from home to challenge St. John's at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
