Basketball Recap: White House Blue Devils vs. Lawson Lightning
White House lost against Lawson back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The White House Blue Devils fell to the Lawson Lightning 52-48. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why White House lost, don't look at Louis Taylor. Despite the final result, he went 9 for 13 on his way to 27 points and three steals. Taylor has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Holt, who posted 12 points.
Lawson found their leader in sophomore Chandler Galloway, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 20 points. Austin King was another key player, going 7 of 10 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds.
White House's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Lawson, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
White House wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-36 loss against Hendersonville on the 30th. As for Lawson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-49 defeat against Macon County on the 30th.
