Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Putnam City North). They breezed by the Capitol Hill Redwolves to the tune of 96-30 on Friday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Putnam City North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tj Mcneely, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 17 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Mcneely a new career-high in points. Nate Muriithi was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Putnam City North was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Putnam City North has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Capitol Hill, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Putnam City North Panthers face off against the Norman Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norman will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Putnam City North surely won't give up without a fight. Capitol Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
