Patterson proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Orestimba Warriors 12-10. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 5-3 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Patterson got a massive performance out of Jazmine Isom, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. That's the most runs Isom has posted since back in May of 2024. Janelle Alvarez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

Patterson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .432. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .350 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Patterson's win bumped their record up to 6-4-2. As for Orestimba, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-6.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Patterson Tigers challenge Pacheco Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Orestimba, they will head out on the road to face off against Pacific Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Orestimba is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
