Basketball Recap: Laytonville Takes a Loss

Laytonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Round Valley Mustangs, falling 70-40. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-43 back in January.

Laytonville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Round Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Laytonville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-46 win against Anderson Valley on the 13th. As for Round Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-42 loss against Mendocino on the 13th.
