Basketball Recap: Washington Academy Takes a Loss

Washington Academy lost against Caribou back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Washington Academy Raiders were beaten by the Caribou Vikings 69-30. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Vikings are ranked fourth).

Washington Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. As for Caribou, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington Academy and Narraguagus will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Caribou, they will challenge Foxcroft Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
