Hopewell-Loudon won the last time they faced Northwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Chieftains took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-6 win over the Rangers. Given the Chieftains' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Rangers are ranked 510th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Hopewell-Loudon and bumps their season record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Northwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
