The Roosevelt Roughriders will square off against West Seattle at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Roosevelt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4 points per game this season.

Roosevelt will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Eastside Catholic, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Roosevelt made off with a 49-48 win over Eastside Catholic.

Roosevelt's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elliot (EJ) Sommers led the charge by putting up 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ismail Guyo, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, West Seattle earned a 64-51 victory over Bishop Blanchet on Thursday. The win continues a trend for West Seattle in their matchups with Bishop Blanchet: they've now won six in a row.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for West Seattle, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.
