Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Central

Bloomfield is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Central. The Bloomfield Warhawks fell 71-60 to the Central Golden Eagles.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Classical at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Classical knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Bloomfield likes a good challenge.
