Football Recap: Highland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 27-10 to the Kankakee Valley Kougars. The Trojans lost against the Kougars in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 52-14 score last time.

Aaron McCormack threw for 105 yards and one touchdown. Justin Slaven was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Jake Slaven rushed for 63 yards.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Kankakee Valley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.
