Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hughesville). They put the hurt on the Bloomsburg Panthers with a sharp 19-1 win on Friday. Considering the Spartans have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Addison Henninger and Ella Breneisen made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Henninger tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Meanwhile, Breneisen tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Henninger went 2-for-3 with three runs, while Breneisen went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three runs gave Henninger a new career-high.
