Soccer Recap: Navarro Comes Up Short

Navarro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Cedar Creek Eagles, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in February.

Navarro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Cedar Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-12 record this season.

Navarro will square off against Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Navarro has given up an average of 5.5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Cedar Creek, they will challenge Crockett at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
