Baseball Recap: Cedar Falls Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Cedar Falls barely beat Pleasant Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers blew past the Spartans 9-2 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Cedar Falls' win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Pleasant Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.

Looking ahead, Cedar Falls will venture away from home to take on Linn-Mar at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pleasant Valley, they will host Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
