Baseball Preview: South Callaway Bulldogs vs. St. Elizabeth Hornets
The South Callaway Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the St. Elizabeth Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. South Callaway is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On Saturday, South Callaway was able to grind out a solid win over Montgomery County, taking the game 6-2.
Meanwhile, St. Elizabeth never let their opponents score last Thursday. They beat Prairie Home by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-0. The result was nothing new for St. Elizabeth, who have now won three matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
South Callaway's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for St. Elizabeth, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
