Softball Recap: Thurston Comes Up Short

Thurston lost against Garden City on May 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Cougars, falling 20-5. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thurston's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Garden City, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-7.

Looking ahead, Thurston will be playing in front of their home fans against Robichaud at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Garden City, they will venture away from home to face off against Canton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cobras will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
