Softball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-5 to the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for John Carroll Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Marion will take on Russellville in a tournament on Saturday. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pelham at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pelham will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something John Carroll Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
