Basketball Recap: Circle Piles Up the Points Against Lustre Christian

Circle had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 61-18 win over the Lustre Christian Lions. The game marked the Wildcats' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Circle's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lustre Christian, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Circle will venture away from home to square off against Frazer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Frazer's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Lustre Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Nashua at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
