Soccer Recap: Aspen Gets the Win

Aspen won the last time they faced Grand Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Aspen Skiers' defense stepped up to hand the Grand Valley Cardinals a 6-0 shutout. Lexi Munro had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Skiers.

Aspen now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Grand Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Aspen is taking a road trip to challenge Basalt at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Basalt's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Grand Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vail Christian at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st.
