Soccer Recap: Mohave's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Mohave can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They beat the Lee Williams Volunteers by a goal, winning 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunderbirds also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Mohave's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6-1. As for Lee Williams, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Mohave challenge the Flagstaff at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lee Williams, they will challenge Mingus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lee Williams is facing Mingus at the right time seeing as Mingus is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
