League recap: Neville races to league-leading run for York

York's Evan Neville rumbled for the longest rushing play in B District 6 this season in his game against Northwest last week. Neville's team beat the Vikings as he sprinted for 92 yards on the play and finished with 352 in all.

York added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Northwest, 48-18. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.

The Dukes' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Nick Pettygrove threw for 3 and 3 touchdowns and Jj Schulz had 16 yards receiving. On the ground Neville contributed 352 yards. Ryan Dolan helped York's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 15 yards.

York's dynamic duo of Pettygrove and Schulz proved to be unstoppable against Kevin Stein's team, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dolan helped York's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 15 yards.

Neville provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Dukes topped the Vikings. Neville's favorite target this week was Schulz, who caught 2 passes for 16 yards.

Neville was a force in the backfield as York topped Northwest.

York's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dukes feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Linden Kaliff has thrown for 1,376 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Ty Danielson has 21 catches for 511 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Aurora and the Dukes. The Huskies enters the game ranked 14th in the state, while York ranks 16th.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Aurora takes on the Dukes. Randy Huebert's team has allowed 124 points this season, while York has given up 91.

The Dukes took down the Vikings 48-18 last week, the largest margin of any game. Neville in the win.
