Ponaganset is 7-1 against Rogers since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chieftains will challenge the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Ponaganset is headed into the contest having not lost since the 1st and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor Davies Career & Tech could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Ponaganset's goal came courtesy of Patrick Ferns, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Rogers came up short against Exeter-West Greenwich on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. Ponaganset's draw gives them a new season record of 8-7-3.

Ponaganset beat Rogers by a goal when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chieftains since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
