Soccer Recap: Southridge Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Southridge after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Kennewick Lions by a score of 2-1. Southridge just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Southridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kennewick, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Southridge will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Walla Walla at 7:00 p.m. Southridge is facing Walla Walla at the right time seeing as Walla Walla is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Kennewick, they will take on Hanford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hanford will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Kennewick surely won't give up without a fight.
