Softball Recap: Taylor County Vikings vs. Jasper County Hurricanes
On Friday, the Taylor County Vikings didn't have quite enough to beat the Jasper County Hurricanes and fell 5-4.
Sunni Scott and Kelsey Driggers stepped up to the plate in a big way. Scott scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Driggers went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBI.
Taylor County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jasper County, the win was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Taylor County will square off against McIntosh at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jasper County, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Upson-Lee at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Jasper County is facing Upson-Lee at the right time seeing as Upson-Lee is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
