Basketball Recap: Hephzibah Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hephzibah waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They managed a 50-45 victory over the Lincoln County Red Devils. This was a revenge game for the Rebels: when they faced off against the Red Devils back in December of 2024, they had to take a 51-39 defeat.

Despite the loss, Lincoln County still got an impressive performance from Syriah Hogan, who posted 26 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. The game was Hogan's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was India Wright, who had four points and five boards.

Hephzibah's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Lincoln County, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Hephzibah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lincoln County has already played their next contest (against Harlem), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
